Special K Bars
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 6 Cups Special K (works fine with Rice Krispies too)
- 1 Bag (12 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 Bag (12 oz.) Butterscotch Chips
Directions
In a large pot combine peanut butter, corn syrup, and sugar. Heat over medium-low heat until sugar is disolved. Remove from heat and stir in cereal and mix until the cereal is thoroughly coated. Spread and pack the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.
In a double boiler melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips. Spread the melted mixture over the bars in the pan. Let cool until the topping hardens.
Cut into bars and serve.
